    About

I am a physician and health researcher focused on prevention.

In the clinic, I work with patients to combat obesity and prevent chronic disease. To learn more about our clinic, go to: https://lluh.org/services/center-health-promotion

As a researcher, I study how diet affects our long-term health. To learn more about our research study, go to: https://publichealth.llu.edu/adventist-health-studies

I also enjoy mentoring epidemiology PhD students through their dissertations.

Outside of work, I have a loving wife and new baby daughter, and I love spending time with my family.  My interests include writing poetry, hosting a book club, baking bread and cooking, running, and strength training.

I am thankful to be a part of the Loma Linda University team.
