    About

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Fluency Clinic Supervisor at Loma Linda University.

My research investigates aspects of developmental stuttering in children. This has included examining the connection between linguistic development and stuttering behaviors, investigating patterns of developmental disassociation in preschool children who stutter, and assessing the clinical efficacy of integrated therapy approaches. I am currently studying the role of temperament and effortful control in the formation of positive adaptation skills in children and adolescents who stutter.
