Sharon S. Lum, MD

Dr. Sharon Lum is a breast surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. A graduate of Harvard College, she completed medical school at Washington University in St. Louis and did her surgical training at Oregon Health and Sciences. During her surgical training, she was the recipient of an American Cancer Society Clinical Research Fellowship. She is currently Medical Director of the Breast Health Center at Loma Linda Health, serves as California State Chair for the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the California Division of the American Cancer Society. She specializes in caring for patients with cancerous and non-cancerous conditions of the breast, as well as those who are at increased risk for the development of breast cancer. Her clinical research interests encompass quality measures and disparities in breast cancer care.
