    About

As of March 27, 2014 I am now a full-time Associate Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Loma Linda University. Prior to this I was a contract professor here for five years and spent 9 years as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Communicative Disorders at nearby University of Redlands.  Here at LLU I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in audiology, auditory habilitation and rehabilitation, and speech-language pathology.  I also perform research and supervise graduate student research, supervise and provide clinical services in the area of auditory habilitation, and look forward to serving the university in administrative functions as well.  I am a Rehabilitative/Habilitative Audiologist and Pediatric Audiologist at the present time.  I am also in the midst of co-authoring a textbook in auditory disorders and their clinical findings for Pearson Publishing Company.  I am collaborating with Dr. Peter Ivory, associate professor of communication sciences and disorders at California State University, Los Angeles.

I enjoy surfing, golf, swimming, cycling, snowboarding, traveling and reading.  I have two wonderful adult children who are now married and starting families.  Life is good, both personally and working here at LLU.
